Your Choice

After many of you voted on what bark I should bake next, I waited with anticipation to see what I would be creating.  Finally, when it came down to it, you all voted for pretzel.  So I went to the grocery store yesterday, before the big game of course, picked up the essential ingredients and got busy today.  I melted the milk chocolate morsels over a double boiler, then added mini pretzels and a 1/4 cup of a secret ingredient.  Well, I only added the secret ingredient to half of the chocolate, just to see the difference between each side.  The half with the pretzels was a mess.  It basically looked like a mound of chocolate covered pretzels.  The other half looked like bark.
I think the only thing I did wrong was not chop up the pretzels before they went into the chocolate.  What was I thinking?  Why would I not break up the pretzels before they went into the chocolate?  Who knows.  I didn't think about it until the pretzels were already submerged.  So next time, I will definitely chop up the pretzels.  I think that way it won't look completely like a pile of pretzels drizzled in chocolate.
But the ultimate deciding factor on the bark was, did it taste good?  Yes, it did.  Not too shabby.

Becky's Recipe:
1 bag of Milk Chocolate morsels
2 cups of mini pretzels
1/2 chopped toffee (1/4 cup for half of the bark)

Spread wax paper over a pan and tape it in place.
Spray non-stick over the paper.
Melt the chocolate over a double boiler.
Pour the pretzels and toffee into the chocolate and stir.
Pour chocolate onto the wax paper and spread out to the thinness desired.
Let sit in the refrigerator until chocolate has become solid.

Enjoy!
