Christmas Cookies

Christmas has come and gone, but the cookies remain.  I am pretty sure that I ate well over a dozen cookies, and that was just on Christmas.  There was an abundance of cookies here, there and everywhere.  On Friday I helped Kim plate some cookies, which included sugar, pizzelles, thumbprints, short bread, cookie exchange cookies, etc.  In other words, there was plenty to fill up 3 dishes.  But my absolute favorite cookie, was the buckeye.
I'm not sure what it is about that combination of peanut butter and chocolate.  They go so well together, like peas and carrots.  It's almost like a Reece's peanut butter cup but better.  I believe I ate 2 buckeyes while I was plating them, and had 2 more that day.  I just can't get enough of them.  If it were up to me, I could probably write an entire blog about buckeyes, but I won't hold you to reading it.
Now Brian and I are home... with 3 tins of cookies and a try of chocolates.  Anyone want to stop over for some dessert?
