I made the double chocolate chip ones. They were oooie gooie delicious. They were so rich, just one was good enough for me. Frankly any of the mixes are good. The only downfall I can see to the brownies are how hard it is to cut them. When you pull the knife through the brownies, they pull chocolate with them. So by the time you are done cutting one row, you have a giant build-up of chocolate on your knife. Luckily, fingers come in handy, and they happen to just end up in my mouth. Hey, someone has to make sure they're not poison!
Regardless, I recommend everyone run to Aldi's and pick up a box of Ghirardelli brownie mix. And, if you haven't been to Aldi's in general, what are you waiting for? It's awesome!
Baking Tip: Cut brownies with a cheap disposable plastic knife... they make clean cuts. Who knew?!
ReplyDeleteLove Aldi's!! I go there aaaall the time! I've seen these brownies there, but never tried them. I'll have to pick some up the next time I go.
